and now Dad-in-law is dying

We had to return but how I wanted to stay in CA
How can the job be more important than the family we leave behind. 
We need to stay here so T can finish school and then if we can we return to CA - but will we be leaving T behind?
In the mean time enjoy the day and the place where you are
